The registration deadline for the UPSC Civil Services Prelims 2025 has been extended. Candidates now have until February 18 at 6 PM to apply on the official website, upsconline.gov.in.
Originally set to close on February 11, the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has extended the registration deadline by one week. Additionally, UPSC will provide a correction window for candidates who need to make changes to their applications. This correction window will be open from February 19 to February 25.
Candidates can complete their application by following these steps:
- Visit the official UPSC website upsconline.gov.in
- Click on the Civil Services Prelims 2025 link.
- If you haven’t registered, create a One-Time Registration (OTR) profile.
- Use your OTR credentials to log in and fill out the form.
- Pay the required fee and submit the application.
- Download and print the confirmation page for future reference.
Application Fees:
- General/OBC candidates: Rs 100
- Female/SC/ST/PwBD candidates: Exempted (No fee required)
- Payment can be made online.
This year, around 979 vacancies will be filled through the Civil Services Examination. The selection process consists of the Preliminary Exam, Main Exam, and Interview. Interested candidates should submit their applications before the new deadline to avoid any last-minute issues.
