Union Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to visit Odisha for a two-day official tour on March 22 and 23.
During his visit, Shah will lay the foundation stone for several government projects and launch new initiatives aimed at enhancing the state’s infrastructure and services.
According to official sources, Shah will arrive in Bhubaneswar on March 22, with details of his itinerary being finalized. The Home Minister will lay the foundation stone for ten new fire stations, which will be funded through the 15th Finance Commission upgradation grant. Additionally, he will flag off 25 Rapid Response vehicles, strategically placed along major roads to improve emergency response to road traffic accidents.
Besides his official engagements, Shah is expected to meet with leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Odisha to discuss party affairs and strategize for future political activities in the state.
The visit underscores the Union Government’s commitment to strengthening infrastructure and public safety in Odisha, reflecting a focus on development and rapid response capabilities.
