Unidentified Man’s Dead Body Found Near Jharsuguda Railway Ticket Counter

Police Suspect Poisoning, Probe Underway

An unidentified man’s body was discovered near the ticket counter of Jharsuguda railway station around 9 am on Saturday.


Railway police and Jharsuguda police reached the spot immediately and began an investigation. The deceased, estimated to be around 42 years old, has not yet been identified.

Preliminary inquiry suggests the man may have died due to poisoning. Police seized the body and sent it to the district headquarters hospital for post-mortem examination.

Authorities are working to establish the victim’s identity and confirm the exact cause of death.
