The Odisha Police recently issued official movement orders for two high-profile IPS officers, Rahul P.R. and Ms. Loganayagi Divya V, announcing their transfer to pivotal roles in the Intelligence Bureau (IB) on deputation.
Rahul P.R., IPS, previously serving as Superintendent of Police, Vigilance, has been reassigned as Joint Deputy Director (SP level) in the IB, following approval from the Director General of Police (DGP), Odisha.
Similarly, Ms. Loganayagi Divya V, IPS, formerly in the same role, has been relieved of her duties to assume an identical post in the Intelligence Bureau.
Both officers are expected to bolster India’s intelligence framework with their expertise and experience.
Their placements follow notifications from the Odisha Home Department, granting them a five-year tenure under central deputation rules.
The transfer of these officers to positions within the Intelligence Bureau aligns with India’s overarching strategy to enhance national security and intelligence operations.
