TPCODL lineman, Ladu Kishore Pradhan has been honored by the Central Electricity Authority (CEA) at the Lineman Diwas 2025 event held in New Delhi for his remarkable contributions to innovation, service and reliability.

At this national-level event, four top-performing DISCOMs and five best linemen were felicitated. Among the top five linemen, Shri Ladu Kishore Pradhan was the only lineman from Odisha to receive this prestigious recognition. He is currently serving as Lineman-C in the Tangi Section under Balugaon Division, Bhubaneswar-2 Circle and has 20 years of experience in the field. Prioritizing safety, he has developed a discharge rod, which enables electrical work to be performed with minimal time and effort.

More than 160 linemen from over 45 public and private power distribution, generation and transmission companies across India participated in this event. Representatives from Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Chandigarh, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Haryana, Jharkhand, Jammu & Kashmir, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and West Bengal were also present at the program.
