At least three people lost their lives after an Indian Coast Guard ALH Dhruv crashed on Sunday in Gujarat’s Porbandar during a routine training sortie.
According to officials, the helicopter experienced technical difficulties, resulting in the crash. Two pilots and three others were on board the aircraft. All those onboard were taken to the civil hospital for treatment, local police confirmed.
The crash comes just two months after another Coast Guard helicopter went down in the sea. As of now, there has been no official statement from the Coast Guard regarding the incident.
