Pop icon Taylor Swift has officially unveiled her 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, during a teaser for an upcoming special episode of the New Heights podcast hosted by Travis and Jason Kelce.
The announcement, made via Instagram, marks the beginning of Swift’s next musical chapter, though key details like the release date and cover art remain under wraps.
In the teaser, Swift is seen seated beside boyfriend Travis Kelce, revealing a mint-green briefcase emblazoned with her initials. “This is my brand-new album,” she says, pulling out the surprise reveal. The post was captioned, “Posted at 12:12 on the 12th. Tay’s 12th album is called…pre-order now at TaylorSwift.com.”
While fans eagerly await more information, pre-orders for cassette, vinyl, and poster editions are already live for U.S. residents. Speculation is also swirling about a potential collaboration with Sabrina Carpenter, as both artists referenced August 12 on their websites.
Swift’s previous album, The Tortured Poets Department, was a two-part release featuring 31 tracks. With The Life of a Showgirl, she continues her tradition of cryptic rollouts and era-defining artistry.
