Pakistan sealed the final Super 8 spot of the T20 World Cup 2026 with a commanding 102-run victory over Namibia in Colombo.
Batting first, Pakistan piled up 199/3 in 20 overs. Sahibzada Farhan starred with an unbeaten 100 off 58 balls, smashing 11 fours and four sixes. Salman Agha chipped in with 38 from 23 balls, while Shadab Khan added a quickfire 36 off 22.
Namibia struggled in reply, bowled out for 97 in 17.3 overs. Louren Steenkamp (23) and Alexander Volschenk (20) were the only batters to reach double figures. Usman Tariq (4/16) and Shadab Khan (3/19) dismantled the Namibian batting order.
This emphatic win ensured Pakistan, the 2009 champions, became the eighth team to qualify for the Super 8s. Farhan was named Player of the Match for his maiden T20 World Cup century.
