The BJP is expected to finalize its Chief Minister for Delhi at the legislative party meeting on Monday, following its victory in the recent assembly elections.
Several names are being speculated for the top post, including Parvesh Verma, Vijender Gupta, Satish Upadhyay, Ashish Sood, and Jitendra Mahajan.
There is also the possibility of a woman or a fresh face being selected, with Rekha Gupta and Shikha Roy among the contenders. The oath-taking ceremony is likely to take place on February 19 or 20.
The BJP won 48 out of 70 seats in the elections, defeating the AAP, which secured 22 seats.
