New Delhi: Olympic medallist wrestler Sushil Kumar and his associate Ajay have been sent to 14-days of judicial custody by a Delhi Court on Wednesday in connection with the Sagar Rana murder case.
The court also rejected the Delhi Police plea for three more days of custodial interrogation of the wrestler.
Kumar, who was produced before Metropolitan Magistrate Rashmi Gupta at the end of the four-day police custody, was sent to judicial custody for 14 days.
He was arrested on May 23 and following his arrest, the court had remanded him to six days of police custody, which was later extended by four more days.
