Sunita Ahuja has criticised husband Govinda over his repeated public appearances with his Roopa co-star Komal Rani, saying the actress is “daughter’s age”.
Actor Govinda’s wife Sunita Ahuja has once again spoken out about his recent outings with his Roopa co-star Komal Rani Swarnkar. The actor has been seen with Komal at public events and during promotional activities for their upcoming film, prompting renewed speculation about their equation.
In a recent interaction with a paparazzo, Sunita reacted sharply when asked about Govinda’s latest appearance with Komal. She questioned the need for the actor to repeatedly be seen with his young co-star and made a pointed reference to their age difference.
“Beti ki umar ki ladki ko le le ke ghoom raha hai, sharam toh aana chahiye thoda isko,” Sunita said, as reported by The Indian Express.
Sunita calls Govinda a ‘sugar daddy’
Sunita went on to make another sarcastic remark about Govinda while commenting on Komal’s appearance.
“Aur vo bhi standard toh hona chahiye. Tumhaara sugar daddy itna ameer hai toh kapde toh dhang ke pehno,” she said, adding that she believed her own style was better.
Her comments have drawn attention online as Govinda and Komal continue to make public appearances while promoting Roopa.

This is not the first time Sunita has addressed the controversy surrounding Govinda and Komal. Earlier, after a video of the two surfaced on social media, Sunita reacted to criticism from some of Govinda’s fans.
She invoked the Hindi proverb “Vinash Kaale, Vipreet Buddhi”, suggesting that Govinda had lost his judgment.
When a paparazzo told her that some fans were calling Govinda “Cheater No. 1” instead of his popular “Hero No. 1” image, Sunita questioned those who had previously criticised her for speaking about alleged infidelity in her marriage.
Govinda defends Komal Rani
Govinda, meanwhile, has defended Komal amid the speculation. In a previous interaction with ANI, he thanked his co-star for maintaining silence despite being dragged into the controversy.
The actor said Komal had not used the situation to seek fame or attention and appreciated her for not making any negative remarks about those discussing the matter.
The speculation comes as Govinda and Komal continue promotional appearances for their upcoming film Roopa. Sunita’s latest remarks have once again put the actor’s personal life and his equation with his co-star under the spotlight.
