Eminent sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik captivated devotees and tourists at Puri beach today with a magnificent sand sculpture celebrating Sabitri Brata.
The artwork honoured married women observing the fast for their husbands’ longevity and prosperity.
The intricate sculpture featured traditional Odia motifs, including depictions of Sabitri and Satyavan, sacred trees, and floral patterns. Pattnaik’s artistry reflected the essence of faith, love, and marital devotion that defines the festival.
Thousands of married women across Odisha observed Sabitri Brata with fasting and prayers, seeking blessings for their families. Pattnaik’s creation served as a heartfelt tribute to their devotion and strength.
