Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida announced that financial assistance under the Subhadra Yojana will be credited to beneficiaries’ accounts by January 18.
According to official figures, 4,57,681 women will receive the Subhadra funds. Moreover, the first instalment will go to 1,78,398 new beneficiaries. In addition, 2,55,265 women who missed out on the first and second instalments will also receive their dues.
Authorities clarified that women excluded earlier will now get two instalments at once, ensuring they are not left behind. Furthermore, during grievance hearings, 24,018 beneficiaries participated to resolve pending issues.
Altogether, the government will transfer Rs 250 crore directly into the accounts of eligible women. Officials emphasised that this initiative reflects the state’s commitment to empowering women and ensuring timely financial support.
