The State-Level Kala Utsav 2025 was inaugurated on Wednesday at the Government Girls’ High School, Unit-6, Bhubaneswar. Smt. Ananya Das, the SPD of OSEPA, attended the event as the Chief Guest.
In her address to the gathering, Smt. Das praised the talented students from various zones of Odisha and highlighted the state’s unique contributions to the field of art. She emphasised that such programs provide an essential platform for students to showcase their talents and creativity. Smt. Das expressed her hope that the students’ remarkable performances at the state level would lead to greater success at the national level.
Renowned film actress Smt. Meghna Mishra, who served as the Guest of Honour, interacted with the children and emphasised the importance of art in their lives. She encouraged them to think creatively, stay aware, feel deeply, and transform their ideas into meaningful action.
During the event, Smt. Sangita Behera, Additional Director of OSEPA, delivered the welcome address. Smt. Sujatabala Das, the Headmistress of the school, addressed the students, urging them to participate with enthusiasm. Dr. Santosh Kumar Raut, Joint Director of OSEPA, offered a vote of thanks to all dignitaries and officials for their valuable time and participation.
A total of 140 students from six zones across Odisha are participating in the State-Level Kala Utsav 2025, which will continue for two days at the Government Girls’ High School, Unit-6, Bhubaneswar.
