Bhubaneswar: Day or maximum temperature equal to or above 35 degree Celsius was recorded at six places in Odisha in the last 24 hours, informed the regional centre of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Tuesday.
Chandbali was the hottest city with a temperature of 35.8 degrees. Under the influence of high temperature and humidity, discomfort weather is likely especially in districts of coastal Odisha.
The IMD further stated that impact of weak monsoon is to continue for the next 4-5 days and the State is likely to experience rainfall in isolated places.
