Bhubaneswar: The Commissionerate Police on Monday busted a sex racket operating in the name of a consultancy firm in Satya Vihar area under Mancheswar police limits in the state capital.
The arrestee has been identified as Laxmi Narayan Pattanayak, owner of the Laxmi Consultancy service.
Reportedly, the matter came to the fore after women employees of the consultancy office had lodged a complaint at the Mancheswar police station.
On the basis of the complaint, police conducted a raid and rescued four women from the spot. The cops also arrested a person during the raid. However, one dealer managed to escape from the spot to evade arrest.
Further investigation into the matter is underway.
