The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, responsible for managing the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, has reported receiving a bomb threat via email.
The alarming message, originating from Tamil Nadu, prompted immediate action by law enforcement agencies.
The cyber cell is actively investigating the sender and the nature of the threat, with officials urging heightened security around the temple premises. In response, the Ram Temple trust has filed an FIR in Ayodhya, ensuring that authorities remain vigilant.
Meanwhile, efforts to safeguard the temple continue with the construction of a four-kilometer security wall, expected to be completed within 18 months. The temple itself, a landmark of devotion and heritage, is anticipated to reach full completion in the next six months.
This development follows the historic pran pratishtha (consecration) ceremony, in which Prime Minister Narendra Modi participated in January 2024, marking the temple’s grand inauguration.
Authorities remain committed to ensuring the safety of devotees and the sanctity of this revered site. Investigations into the threat email are underway, as security agencies remain alert.
