The Silk City Berhampur is set to witness the distribution of the second installment of the Subhadra Yojana funds on March 8 during a special program organized on International Women’s Day. Smt. Parida announced that 1 crore women will receive their funds directly in their bank accounts through direct transfer.
This initiative aims to extend financial assistance to genuine beneficiaries, fostering economic stability among women in Odisha. Deputy CM Parida emphasized the government’s commitment to reaching their target of assisting 1 crore women, ensuring that all recipients receive their funds during the event in Berhampur.
During the announcement, Deputy CM Parida also expressed sorrow over the recent demise of Uttam Mohanty, referring to him as a gem and a superstar. “We have lost a gem of a person. It is indeed a sad day that we have lost our superstar. I pray to Lord Jagannath to give him shelter,” she said.
