TPSODL (TP Southern Odisha Distribution Limited), in collaboration with MKCG Medical College & Hospital and SOCH – A voluntary organisation of MKCG MCH students, organised a blood donation camp on the premises of MKCG Medical College, Berhampur, to mark World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day.
The event was inaugurated by Dr. Suchitra Das, Dean of MKCG Medical College & Hospital, in the presence of senior medical professionals, TPSODL employees, and enthusiastic medical students. Bringing together people from diverse backgrounds, the camp embodied the spirit of humanitarian service, ultimately collecting 118 units of blood to support emergency medical needs.
Mr. Amit Kumar Garg, CEO of TPSODL, emphasised the significance of such initiatives, stating, “Blood donation is a profound act of service to humanity. It is our collective duty to support each other in times of need. At TPSODL, we are proud to stand for causes that foster compassion, save lives, and strengthen the fabric of our community.”
Dr. Suchitra Das echoed the sentiment, encouraging the youth and healthcare professionals to continue supporting such efforts. TPSODL’s initiative aims to nurture a culture of empathy, volunteerism, and social solidarity, benefiting communities far beyond the immediate event.
