Salman Khan addressed Malti Chahar’s controversial comment about Nehal Chudasama in the latest promo for Bigg Boss 19 Weekend Ka Vaar. Fans had anticipated Salman calling her out, and he did not disappoint.

In the promo, Salman can be seen giving Malti a stern warning while also dozing off briefly as she rambled on with her explanation.

The comment that sparked the controversy

During a recent house dispute over halwa, Malti remarked to Nehal:

“Next time kapde pehen ke baat karna” (talk to me next time with your clothes on).

Nehal, fully dressed at the time, took offence and yelled at Malti, escalating tensions in the house.

Salman questions Malti’s reasoning

Salman asked Malti to clarify her comment. She explained that the AC was too cold and suggested Nehal wear more clothes. Her lengthy explanation made Salman visibly bored, even dozing off momentarily.

Salman then asked the contestants:

“Kitno ko lagta hai ki ye ekdum bakwas tha?” (How many of you think this was totally stupid?)

Kunika Sadanand agreed, calling the comment “bakwas” as well.

He further admonished Malti:

“Malti, kuch bolne ke baad, maidaan chor ke bhaag jaati ho. Dose de rahi ho toh jo return dose aata hai who bhi lena seekh jaiye.”
(Malti, you run away after delivering barbs. If you attack someone, learn to take it too.)

Malti appeared visibly glum after Salman’s remarks.

The altercation with Nehal

Earlier in the week, Nehal, the house captain, announced that suji ka halwa would be prepared and asked no one to intervene. Malti mocked the dish, saying:

“Ganda halwa banega” (It’ll turn out bad),

prompting Baseer Ali to question if she thought before speaking. The argument escalated into a heated exchange between Malti, Baseer, and Nehal.

Nehal challenged her personally:

“Tumne kya kiya hai life mein?” (What have you done in your life?)

Malti fired back with her infamous “kapde pehenkar baat karna” line, leaving other contestants, including Ashnoor Kaur and Kunika Sadanand, shocked.

About Malti Chahar

Malti is the sister of cricketer Deepak Chahar and joined Bigg Boss 19 as a wildcard entry a few weeks ago. Her bold statements and confrontational style have already made her a polarizing figure in the house.
