Bhubaneswar: Dr. Wazir Singh, High-Performance Director (Athletics), SAI, visited Kalinga Stadium Sports Complex today and interacted with the athletes within the stadium.
Along with Col. Rajesh Singh, Technical Director, Sports and Youth Services Department, he also visited the different facilities including Abhinav Bindra Targeting Performance Centre, Khelo India Centre of Excellence and other projects coming up within the stadium complex and was impressed with the world-class infrastructures and facilities at the stadium.
He met Sports Secretary, R Vineel Krishna and appreciated the Odisha Govt for investing in sports and sportspersons and creating a hub for sports which will play a significant role in the holistic development of athletes.
