A late-night accident on KIIT Road left five people injured, including a food delivery worker, after a speeding car crashed into multiple vehicles.

The incident occurred around 11:30 PM when the speeding car, allegedly driven recklessly under the influence of alcohol, rammed the vehicle into two parked auto-rickshaws at an intersection and struck a food delivery worker.

The impact shattered windows, overturned vehicles, and caused serious injuries to those involved. Four individuals, who were passengers sitting inside the auto-rickshaws and a food delivery boy, sustained injuries and were rushed to Capital Hospital. Reports indicate that the condition of two victims remains critical.

The driver of the car fled the scene immediately after the crash. Authorities are investigating the matter and a manhunt is underway to locate the perpetrator.

Reckless driving and alcohol consumption are suspected to be the primary causes of the tragic accident. Local residents are urging stricter road safety measures to prevent such incidents in the future.
