Rashtrapati Bhavan announced that Circuit-1 will remain closed to the general public from January 21 to 29, 2026.
The closure comes in view of preparations and security arrangements for the upcoming Republic Day Parade and the Beating Retreat Ceremony.
Authorities clarified that visitor access will resume after January 29 once the national celebrations conclude. The decision ensures the smooth conduct of ceremonial events and adequate security arrangements at the President’s Estate.
Rashtrapati Bhavan remains one of the most visited heritage sites in the capital, attracting thousands of visitors every year. The temporary closure highlights the importance of national events that showcase India’s military, cultural, and ceremonial traditions.
