Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) here has issued rain and thunderstorm alert for several districts of the State including the Twin City in the next three hours.
Light to moderate rain/thundershower with lightning very likely to affect over some parts of districts of Malkangiri, Kandhamal, Keonjhar, Deogarh, Ganjam, Puri, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapada, Cuttack(including Cuttack city) and Khorda (including Bhubaneswar city) during next three hours.
People are advised to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect from lightning strike.
