Sindhu, en route to Birmingham for the prestigious All England Open 2026, was stranded as flight operations were suspended amid escalating tensions in the MiddleEast.

Her coach was forced to seek safety as explosions were heard close to the terminal. The Indian High Commission has stepped in to assist her and other stranded passengers.
The incident comes as the US–Israel conflict with Iran triggered missile attacks across the region, leaving Dubai among the affected areas.
