Odisha Governor Dr Hari Babu Kambhampati on Saturday appointed Professor Dipak Kumar Sahoo as the Vice Chancellor of Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT), Burla.
The 59-year-old Sahoo is currently working as a Professor at the School of Engineering of the Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT).
After completing his B.Sc. in Engineering at OUTR, Sahoo earned an M.Tech. from CUSAT and a Ph.D. from IIT Roorkee. He also holds a degree in Law (LLB).
With 24 years of experience in academia, Sahoo served as a professor for 14 years and has held various administrative positions.
Throughout his career, Sahoo has contributed to numerous journals and books. He has successfully supervised six researchers in their academic work.
