Prime Video India announced its upcoming Original movie Don’t Be Shy, written and directed by Sreeti Mukerji.
Produced by Alia Bhatt and Shaheen Bhatt under Eternal Sunshine Productions, with co-producers Grishma Shah and Vikesh Bhutani, the film tells the story of Shyamili “Shy” Das, a 20-year-old navigating unexpected twists in her perfectly planned life.
Nikhil Madhok, Director & Head of Originals at Prime Video India, described the project as a fun yet heartfelt romantic comedy. He highlighted Alia Bhatt’s instinct for emotionally rich and relatable stories, noting that the film’s female-forward narrative, fresh writing, and Ram Sampath’s music will make Don’t Be Shy a delightful experience for audiences worldwide.
