Apple has unveiled its latest update to the most affordable iPad in its lineup, featuring the powerful A16 chip and enhanced storage capabilities.
This new model is now available for pre-order, starting at Rs 34,900.
The refreshed iPad comes in three storage variants: 128GB, 256GB, and 512 GB. Prices for the Wi-Fi-only models range from Rs 34,900 to Rs 64,900, while the Wi-Fi + Cellular models are priced between Rs 49,900 and Rs 79,900.
Available in four vibrant colors—blue, pink, yellow, and silver—the new iPad promises up to 30% better performance than its predecessor, thanks to the A16 chip. It also features an 11-inch Liquid Retina display with a resolution of 2360×1640 pixels, offering a brightness of 500 nits.
Battery life remains impressive, with up to 10 hours of web browsing, and the device supports 20W charging via USB-C. Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the 12-megapixel rear camera with autofocus and the 12-megapixel front camera with Center Stage support for video calls.
The iPad also boasts improved connectivity options, including Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, and 5G for cellular models using eSIM technology. Additionally, the new iPad is compatible with the first-generation Apple Pencil and supports the Magnetic Keyboard Folio.
The new iPad is set to go on sale starting March 12. Apple enthusiasts can now pre-order their devices through the company’s official website.
