According to reports, a bus named Sriramji was transporting approximately 70 passengers from Jagannathpur in Bhograi to the Prayagraj Maha Kumbh with a special permit. Late last night, around 2 AM, a sand-loaded tipper collided with the bus from behind in the Mohania area of Kaimur district, Bihar.

Around 35 passengers sustained injuries in the incident. Among the injured, Raj Kishore Sahu from Naguaon village, Bapi Samal from Phulbani village, and Subash Behera from Kukudia village are in critical condition. The three seriously injured individuals have been transferred to Varanasi, while the others were taken to a local government hospital.

After hearing about the accident, Bhograi MLA Gautam Buddha Das contacted the District Magistrate and the Regional Transport Officer (RTO) to request better medical care for the injured and assistance in returning the remaining passengers to Balasore.

The MLA expressed his hopes for a swift recovery for all those hurt. In response to inquiries about the situation, Balasore RTO Rashmi Ranjit Dalabehera stated that measures are being implemented to facilitate the return of the passengers as instructed by the District Magistrate.
