Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to visit Odisha on September 27, with plans to address a large youth gathering in Berhampur, according to sources.
Though the official schedule is yet to be confirmed, the timing of the visit is significant as it comes a day ahead of the 2nd National Mediation Conference, which will be held in Bhubaneswar on September 28, 2025.
The conference will see the participation of Chief Justice of India BR Gavai, Chief Justices from multiple states, senior judges, Advocates General, Law Secretaries, and representatives from several mediation-related institutions.
PM Modi is likely to land at Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar by a special aircraft before heading to Berhampur for the youth event. Government and party officials, however, have not yet issued an official confirmation of the visit.
