Ahead of the Monsoon Session of Parliament, Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized India’s rising global stature, highlighting the successful execution of Operation Sindoor as a demonstration of the country’s growing military prowess and indigenous defence capabilities.
“Under Operation Sindoor, the houses of the masters of terrorists were razed to the ground within 22 minutes,” the Prime Minister declared, adding, “The world has been very attracted to this new form of Made in India military power.”
Global Recognition of ‘Made in India’ Weapons
PM Modi underlined that the entire operation relied on indigenous defence systems, which not only met but exceeded expectations. He said the mission achieved 100% of its objectives, reinforcing India’s image as a self-reliant defence power.
“Today, when I meet leaders from around the world, there is increasing interest in Indian-made weapons. This success is not just strategic; it’s symbolic of India’s transformation into a global military and manufacturing hub,” he said.

In addition to military accomplishments, Modi celebrated India’s strides in space exploration. He cited Shubhanshu Shukla’s historic boarding of the International Space Station as another proud moment for the nation, reflecting India’s growing presence in cutting-edge global science and technology.

Calling the Monsoon Session a “moment of national pride,” PM Modi said Parliament would address key developments including Operation Sindoor and respond to international concerns.
The government also indicated its readiness to discuss U.S. President Donald Trump’s recent claim of mediating a ceasefire between India and Pakistan—an assertion that drew criticism and heightened attention from opposition parties during an all-party meeting on Sunday.
