A young woman suffered severe burn injuries after unidentified miscreants poured petrol through a window and set her room ablaze while she was asleep in Santoshpur under Bisra police limits in Raurkela on Saturday.
Preliminary reports indicate that the attackers used a pipe to pour petrol into the room before igniting it. The victim sustained critical burns and was rescued by family members and locals, who rushed her to a private hospital in Raurkela. Doctors described her condition as serious.
