Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s flagship student engagement programme, Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC), has achieved a new milestone — securing a Guinness World Record for the “Most people registered on a Citizen Engagement Platform in one month.”
The eighth edition of PPC 2025 recorded an unprecedented 3.53 crore valid registrations on the MyGov platform, earning global recognition. The award was presented at a ceremony in New Delhi, attended by Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, Minister of State Jitin Prasada, senior officials, and Guinness World Records adjudicator Rishi Nath.
Launched in 2018, PPC offers a unique platform for the Prime Minister to interact directly with students, parents, and teachers, transforming exam season into a celebration of learning and positivity. This year, the programme reached 21 crore viewers across platforms.
Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan praised PM Modi’s vision for making exams stress-free and motivating, while Ashwini Vaishnaw highlighted the initiative’s role in preparing youth for diverse career opportunities in Amrit Kaal. Jitin Prasada lauded MyGov for leveraging technology to deepen citizen engagement nationwide.
PPC aligns with the NEP 2020 focus on joyful, experiential learning, moving away from rote memorisation. Through personal interactions, PM Modi addresses challenges like time management, digital distractions, and emotional resilience, offering practical advice to exam warriors.
The record-breaking success of PPC 2025 is seen as a collective achievement for all stakeholders, reinforcing the message that exams are not an end, but a beginning.
