Dismissing all circulating social media rumours and misleading claims regarding the postponement of the Odisha Secondary School Teacher Eligibility Test (OSSTET) 2026, the Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha, clarified that the examination will take place tomorrow, September 30, 2026, as per the original schedule.
In an official video statement released today, President of BSE Odisha Srikanata Tarai urged candidates across the state not to pay heed to false information spreading on social media platforms suggesting the exam had been deferred or cancelled.
“The Board has taken no decision to postpone the OSSTET 2026 exam. The examination will proceed exactly as planned on September 30, 2026. We advise all candidates to ignore fake news and focus entirely on their upcoming exam,” stated the President, BSE Odisha.
