Pooshan Mohapatra from Cuttack, Odisha, has secured All India Rank 1 in the NEET PG 2025 examination, emerging as the top scorer among thousands of medical graduates nationwide.
Pooshan began his preparation in January 2025, shortly after completing his internship. His dedication and strategic focus paid off, earning him the highest rank in one of India’s most competitive medical entrance exams. “I am keen on pursuing Medicine and Radio Dialysis. This success wouldn’t have been possible without the unwavering support of my parents and my elder daughter,” he shared.
He also offered advice to future aspirants: “Stay focused, work consistently, and most importantly, believe in yourself.”
This milestone not only marks personal triumph but also elevates Odisha’s reputation in the national academic landscape. Pooshan’s success is expected to inspire a new generation of medical students from the region.
