The Odisha government has announced that female students receiving annual scholarships or financial aid of Rs 18,000 or more from any state or central government scheme will not be eligible for the Subhadra Yojana.
The Women and Child Development Department clarified that applicants must be between 21 and 60 years old as of the qualifying date to receive financial support.
Departments to Submit Beneficiary Data
To implement this rule, the department has asked the Higher Education Department and the Department of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Minorities to provide complete data on eligible students.
The required report should include:
-

-
Scholarship amounts received in 2023–24 and 2024–25
-
Exclusion of arrear-based payments
-
Submission in the specified format from the Women and Child Development Department
Review Process and Compliance
After receiving the data, the government will review all applicants’ eligibility. Students receiving more than Rs 18,000 annually will be removed from the Subhadra Assistance Programme, while eligible students will continue to receive support.
