As COVID-19 cases surge in Odisha, the School and Mass Education Department has announced precautionary measures to ensure student safety.
Minister Nityananda Gond emphasised the importance of preventive actions, instructing teachers and students to stay vigilant as schools reopen.
Students displaying cold symptoms will be required to wear masks, and those experiencing severe health issues should remain at home. District education officers will soon receive detailed guidelines to help implement these measures effectively.
Gond reiterated that all schools will strictly follow the Health Department’s protocols, highlighting the value of life and the necessity for caution amid the ongoing pandemic.
