Odisha’s Revenue and Disaster Management Minister, Suresh Pujari, has reassured candidates about maintaining transparency in the recruitment process for Revenue Inspector (RI), Assistant Revenue Inspector (ARI), and Amin positions conducted by the Odisha Sub-ordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC).
Speaking to the media, Pujari acknowledged discrepancies during the selection of examination centres, often managed by private agencies. He emphasised that transparency remains a top priority in these large-scale exams, stating, “We have held discussions on this and I assure that no such discrepancies will occur in the future.”
The preliminary exams for RI, ARI, Amin, and ICDS Supervisor posts, conducted between September 20 and October 8, 2024, saw all candidates, except nine, caught cheating, qualify for the main examinations. This decision reflects OSSSC’s commitment to fairness despite existing challenges.
The minister’s assurances aim to instil confidence in the candidates and uphold the credibility of recruitment processes.
