Odisha Reports 74 Fresh COVID Cases In Last 24 Hrs

Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s COVID-19 caseload on Tuesday surged to 3,37,351 after 74 more people tested positive for the infection, according to the latest figure by the State I&PR department.

The new cases were detected in 17 of the 30 districts of Odisha, with 45 reported from different quarantine centres and 29 local contact cases.

Sundargarh district reported the highest 13 new positive cases followed by Sambalpur (12) and Khurda (8).

Here’s the district-wise break-up of new cases:

3. Bhadrak: 2
4. Balangir: 3
5. Gajapati: 1
6. Ganjam: 1
7. Jajpur: 3
8. Jharsuguda: 6
9. Kendrapada: 1
10. Keonjhar: 1
11. Khurda: 8
12. Mayurbhanj: 5
13. Puri: 4
14. Sambalpur: 12
15. Sonepur: 4
16. Sundargarh: 13
17. State Pool: 2

The state currently has 734 active COVID-19 cases, while as many as 3,34,647 patients have recovered from the infection.
