Rayagada: The Forest Department officials seized two leopard hides in Rayagada district and arrested six persons in this connection.
Based on intelligence, a team of forest officers under the direction of Sachin Anasaheb Ahol and the leadership of ACF Sandip Prushty conducted a raid at Gudari area, seized a leopard hide and arrested five persons on 10th May.
The next day, the officials again raided the Chatikana Shiv temple area, seized another leopard hide and arrested another wildlife criminal. The two leopard hides have been sent for forensic testing.
