In a stunning showcase of talent and discipline, four young constables from the Odisha Police clinched gold medals at the prestigious 2025 World Police & Fire Games held in Birmingham, United States.
Their success has elevated the pride and reputation of Odisha Police on a global stage.
Constables Ashok Dandasena and Susmita Tiga emerged as champions in the 1500m races in the men’s and women’s categories, respectively. Both had previously made headlines for their performances in the 800m events, where Dandasena had secured gold and Tiga won silver.
Meanwhile, constables Bhagwan Reddy and Suman Shekhar Das dominated in karate. Reddy triumphed in the under-64kg category, while Das clinched gold in the under-84kg division. Their impeccable techniques and dedication stood out among hundreds of international competitors.
