The Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) has established a dedicated mining committee to investigate irregularities in mining activities and address the challenges faced by tribal communities in Sundargarh district.


The initiative was announced by PCC President Bhakta Charan Das, emphasizing the party’s commitment to resolving pressing issues in the region.

The committee will be chaired by MLA Tara Prasad Bahinipati, with members including MLAs CS Rajan Ekka, Ashok Das, Satyajit Gamango, and Sagar Charan Das.

The formation of this committee reflects the party’s proactive approach to ensuring transparency in mining operations and safeguarding the rights of affected residents.
