After a devastating bus accident involving pilgrims near Uttara in Bhubaneswar, Minister of Commerce and Transport, Bibhuti Bhushan Jena, expressed heartfelt sorrow for the victims and swiftly directed officials to provide all necessary aid.
In response, Bhubaneswar RTO-1 Bikas Choudhury and Puri MVI Rajesh Mohapatra, along with a team of senior officers, promptly visited the accident site and the hospital. Their efforts ensured immediate medical attention and timely support for the injured.
As part of the aid measures, 12 pilgrims discharged from the hospital were transported safely to Puri in a bus arranged by Bhubaneswar RTO-1. Meanwhile, MVI Chittaranjan Sahu and Junior MVI Dharmendra Dehury have initiated an investigation to uncover the cause of the mishap. The Hon’ble Minister has instructed them to submit a thorough report, reflecting the government’s commitment to accountability and safety.
