The Government of Odisha, through its General Administration & Public Grievance Department, has issued a notification detailing the transfer and posting of several Odisha Administrative Service (OAS) officers, effective immediately.
The notification, issued on August 11, 2025, outlines the following transfers:
- Sri Surendra Kumar Panda, previously Special Secretary to the Health & Family Welfare Department, has been appointed as Chief General Manager (P&A) at IDCO, Bhubaneswar, on foreign service terms.
- Smt. Soojata Mesra, formerly Special Secretary to the ST & SC Development, Minorities & Backward Classes Welfare Department, is now Special Secretary to the Higher Education Department.
- Sri Niti Ranjan Sen, Additional Secretary to the Labour & ESI Department, has been posted as Managing Director of the State Seeds Corporation Ltd., Odisha, on foreign service terms.
- Sri Shiv Shankar Mishra, whose services were earlier placed with the Forest, Environment & Climate Change Department for posting at the State Pollution Control Board, is now Project Administrator at ITDA, Karanjia, Mayurbhanj.
- Sri Gourabamaya Pradhan, ex-Sub-Collector of Kuchinda, Sambalpur, has been appointed as Additional Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Angul.
- Smt. Poonam Rout, previously Project Administrator at ITDA, Keonjhar, is now Deputy Secretary to the Health & Family Welfare Department.
This strategic reshuffling aims to enhance administrative efficiency and support key developmental initiatives across the state.
