The BJP government replaced BJD-affiliated government lawyers in ten districts of Odisha.
The move reshaped legal representation in ten district courts.
The government issued an official notification confirming the replacement of law officers and public prosecutors. The districts affected include Ganjam, Jharsuguda, Rayagada, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Keonjhar, Koraput, Angul, Deogarh, and Subarnapur. New appointments placed lawyers loyal to the ruling party in these positions.
