The Odisha Government has designated 16 IAS officers as Additional Secretaries across multiple departments, reinforcing administrative efficiency and governance.
These officers, previously serving as Joint Secretaries, will now take on greater responsibilities in departments such as Forest & Environment, Fisheries, Revenue & Disaster Management, Home, Water Resources, Housing & Urban Development, Parliamentary Affairs, Energy, Rural Development, Excise, Food Supplies, Women & Child Development, and Education.
The notification, issued by the General Administration & Public Grievance Department on May 15, 2025, outlines their new designations and ensures seamless transition in governance. The move is aimed at improving departmental coordination and service delivery to citizens across the state.
