In a fresh round of bureaucratic reshuffles, the Home Department of the Government of Odisha has issued a notification announcing the transfer and posting of two officers.
According to the official order, Madkar Sandeep Sampat, IPS (R.R. 2012), who currently serves as the Superintendent of Police (SP) in Bhadrak, has been transferred to Nabarangpur as the new SP.
Similarly, Manoj Kumar Rout, OPS (S), who has been serving as Additional SP in Keonjhar, will assume charge as the SP of Bhadrak.
The transfers come as part of routine administrative changes aimed at strengthening governance and law enforcement across Odisha.
While these shifts are standard practice in government administration, the change in leadership in Nabarangpur and Bhadrak will likely impact policing strategies in these districts.
