Bhubaneswar: The Chief Minister’s public grievance hearing, typically conducted every Monday, will not take place on July 22 (Monday) owing to the inaugural session of the 17th Legislative Assembly scheduled for July 22.
The Information and Public Relations Department has also announced the government’s decision on ‘X’ and wrote, “The session of Odisha Assembly is starting from 22nd of this month. For this reason, the hearing of the chief minister’s complaint will be closed on 22nd July, 2024 (Monday)”.

This is the second instance of the public hearing being suspended this month; it was previously closed on July 8 due to the Rath Yatra festival.
CM Mohan Majhi had reinstated the public hearings on July 1, reviving a tradition that had been inactive for 16 years.
