Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi conducted a review meeting today at Lok Seva Bhavan to assess the progress of the PM Janman Yojana across the state.

The scheme, operational in 14 districts, has successfully established Mobile Medical Units in 1,055 PVTG habitations, achieving 100% implementation.

CM Majhi directed all district collectors and officials to personally visit remote regions, evaluate their conditions, and submit progress reports. The initiative aims to bring essential facilities such as housing, electricity, mobile connectivity, and drinking water to 68,605 families across 1,751 villages.

With ambitious targets set for 2026, the state government has plans for the construction of 45,408 houses, 210 km of concrete roads, and improved water and health infrastructure in tribal settlements. The Chief Minister expressed satisfaction with the achievements and stressed the need for the timely completion of all developmental work.

Senior officials, including Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja and Development Commissioner Anu Garg, attended the meeting, reinforcing the government’s commitment to uplifting tribal communities.
