Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi made a significant visit to New Delhi, where he paid a courtesy call on President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhawan.

The meeting centred on Odisha’s ambitious development agenda, with CM Majhi presenting the “Odisha Vision 2036 | 2047” blueprint, a strategic roadmap for transforming the state into a prosperous “Samruddha Odisha.”

Discussions focused on accelerating Odisha’s progress through enhanced coordination between the Central and state governments, emphasising infrastructure, industrial growth, and socio-economic development.

Majhi also held productive talks with Union Minister for Railways, Electronics, and IT, Ashwini Vaishnaw. The duo explored strategies to bolster Odisha’s railway infrastructure, expand the semiconductor industry, and strengthen the state’s IT ecosystem. These initiatives align with the Centre’s commitment to supporting Odisha’s growth, particularly in improving connectivity and fostering industrial innovation.

Additionally, the Chief Minister met Union Minister for Housing & Urban Affairs, Manohar Lal Khattar, as part of his ongoing engagements with Union ministers. These discussions underscored Odisha’s proactive approach to securing Central support for its development projects, aiming to elevate the state’s urban infrastructure and overall economic landscape.

Majhi’s meetings reflect Odisha’s determination to achieve rapid, inclusive growth while leveraging national support to realise its long-term vision. The state is poised to make significant strides in connectivity, technology, and urban development, positioning itself as a key player in India’s growth story.

CM Majhi also paid a courtesy call on Union Minister for Housing & Urban Affairs Manohar Lal Khattar in New Delhi today.
